We are thrilled to share Chatelaine magazine’s tribute to Noorbanu Nimji’s Legacy. As our beloved matriarch, we always admired Noorbanu for her devotion to our family and to anyone who cared to learn the art of Indian cooking. We knew that she was appreciated in her community around the world because of how many books she sold. But, it was a complete surprise when Canada’s premiere magazine for women, Chatelaine, called to interview Noorbanu’s son, Akbar, and me, Karen.  This is when it hit us that Noorbanu’s reach had been even more profound that we’d realized.
